Australia won the 3-match ODI series against the India 2-1. They won the first two encounters of the series quite convincingly, on the back of centuries from Steve Smith in both the games.
However, the Aussies had to cope with a slew of injuries, which allowed India to snatch a win in the last ODI of the series. Australia will be without Pat Cummins, David Warner, and possibly Mitchell Starc and Marcus Stoinis for the T20I series.
Meanwhile, India will be filled with confidence ahead of the T20 encounter between the two sides. Their bowling unit finally clicked in the final ODI of the series and T Natarajan’s strong debut bodes well for the team.
They will look to use their winning momentum at last ODI to their advantage and take the lead in the T20 series and I have see this match live at Sony Sports network.
Date: Friday, 4th December 2020
Time: 01:40 PM IST
Venue: Manuka Oval, Canberra
This pitch is a decent one with something in it for both the batsmen and bowlers. There is a lot of pace and bounce on offer for the pacers, with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Cameron Green getting the ball to skid on nicely these lot of moment as see at last ODI match.
Both teams will look to chase upon winning the toss. 160-170 should be a good total at this venue, with both sides looking to draw first blood in this series.
